What’s trending in DIY wedding style? Survey says… Photo Booths! They come in all shapes, sizes, and styles and have endless ideas for cute accessories, but as you might easily guess, our favorites are the ones covered in vintage wallpaper. We’ve worked with many eager DIY brides inspired to create a photo booth for their own special day and also photographers wanting to construct a magical background for their studios, but this year, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to create one ourselves for a close family wedding.
Using two separate 4’ x 8’ panels of plywood, a mix of vintage wallpaper patterns from our Etsy store, and the help of a couple of tool-savvy men, we built one adult-sized photo booth and another miniature one for the kiddos.
After an intimate ceremony in the park, we returned to a backyard reception where these fun photo boards greeted the guests and invited them to play a little before getting in line for a bite to eat.
We also created a number of fun photo props for some added merriment.
And to be sure, fun was had by all!
