After much sweat and toil, Nanette's vintage 1940's bathroom is complete! All of that hard work definitely paid off, because her retro basement bath looks great. I love the beautiful blue tile and the authentic vintage fixtures.
Nanette's 1945 transitional ranch home needed a second bathroom in the basement, so she set out to design and build a bath that looked as if it were part of the house originally.
She found all of her beautiful, authentic vintage fixtures--the 1940's American Standard toilet, pre-war Crane sink, and vintage medicine cabinet--at a salvage yard in Portland.
Of course, for the pefrect retro bathroom, Nanette also needed to find authentic vintage wallpaper to hang on a feature wall.
She compared many different tile, flooring, and Hannah's Treasures vintage wallpaper samples in order to come up with the right combo.
Wow, I love everything she did! The wallpaper especially.....but the accessories add a special touch, too!
